Is the free tier really free forever?
Yes. The review loop is the product's core and it is never the paywall: every word you have learned keeps its schedule and stays reviewable, uncapped, with no ads and no lockout timers. The 300-slot capacity paces how fast new words come in; it never touches reviewing.
What exactly is the 300-word capacity?
It counts words in progress, the ones still being scheduled tightly because you could forget them. A word graduates when it passes a check review about six weeks after you first met it; it then stops counting and frees its slot. In practice that sustains about seven new words a day, indefinitely, for free, for a learner who keeps up their reviews.
What are Ask AI credits?
Every card and sentence has an Ask AI button for questions about the word or the grammar in front of you. A question costs 1 credit with the fast model and 5 with the deeper one; free accounts get 10 credits a month, premium gets 200. Failed answers are refunded automatically, and reading answers that already exist costs nothing for anyone.
How much will premium cost?
The number arrives with the launch, and the waitlist sees it before anyone else. What will not change is the boundary: everything listed as free on this page stays free, and premium keeps selling depth and speed rather than unlocking basics.
Will free features ever move behind the paywall?
