Russian, with the grammar on the card.

Mobile stress, aspect pairs, six cases, register: Russian vocabulary is unusable without them. Every NuanceDeck card carries all of it, inside real, fully annotated sentences.

What Russian demands

Russian is not hard because of its words. It is hard because of what each word drags along. The card carries it all.

Stress you can see

Russian stress is mobile and it changes meaning. Every word on every card shows its stressed vowel, and the paradigm warns you when the stress moves (хожу́, but хо́дишь). Cyrillic from day one: no transliteration crutches.

Aspect, always in pairs

A Russian verb is half of a pair. When a verb enters the dictionary, its partner comes with it: стать is one tap away from становиться, everywhere they appear.

Cases where they happen

Six cases, drawn as braces under the words of real sentences, so government and agreement are seen rather than memorized. The full declension table is still there, one tap away.

Register, before you need it

Neutral, colloquial or worse: when a word carries a register, the card says so up front. You learn where a word belongs along with what it means.

A dictionary built, not scraped

The Russian content is authored and verified as a dataset with hard quality gates, not collected from the web.

3,000+

hand-verified senses

Every gloss and every sentence goes through a generate, verify and fix pipeline before it ships. One card teaches exactly one sense.

A1 to C1

aligned to ТРКИ (TORFL)

The vocabulary follows the official lexical minimum of the TORFL exams, completed by a 20,000-word frequency list. No intermediate wall: the dictionary keeps going where beginner apps stop.

EN + FR

authored per language

English and French glosses are written from the Russian word itself, never translated from each other. French speakers read real French, not relay translations.

1 new word

per sentence

Example sentences use supporting words at or below the headword's level, so the word being taught is the only unknown, and it is always recoverable from the sentence and the gloss.

Modules made for Russian

Each hard spot of Russian gets its own drill, plugged into the same deck and the same scheduler.
