Russian cursive practice sheets
Type a word or a phrase, pick a handwriting, and print a sheet ruled like a Russian school copybook: trace your text in grey, then write it yourself.
Latin letters turn Russian as you type, two of them making one letter where needed: sh ш · ch ч · zh ж · kh х · shch щ · ya я · yu ю · yo ё · y ы · j й · x кс · ' ь · '' ъ · e' э. A y after a vowel is й: chay is чай.
Handwriting
Prints whole on A4 and on US Letter.
Handwriting fonts: Russkopis by MihailJP, New Standard Old by R. A. Pavlov, and the others from Google Fonts. Russkopis licence
Trace slowly first
Go over the grey letters at your own pace, following the slant of the guide lines. The shapes come first; speed comes with time.
Small letters fill the row
Small letters, like а, о and ш, sit between the two lines of a row and touch both. Capitals and the loops of б and в rise above the row, and the tails of д, у and р drop below it.
One word a day
A short word traced twice and then written five times stays with you longer than a page of single letters. Change the text and print a new sheet whenever you like.
