Nice to meet you in Russian

The exchange is a fixed little dance: introductions, then очень приятно, answered by взаимно or мне тоже (me too). It follows Как вас зовут? and Меня зовут... so naturally that the three phrases are worth learning as one scene.

Рад/рада is your first meeting with the short adjective agreeing with the speaker: a man is рад, a woman рада. The same pattern will follow you through рад помочь (glad to help) and beyond.
