Beautiful in Russian

Beautiful in Russian is красивый (krasivy), and the ending agrees with what you describe: красивая for a woman or feminine noun, красивое for a neuter one, красиво for an impression, as in how beautiful!

How to use it

Every Russian adjective agrees in gender, number and case, and красивый is the classic specimen: красивый парень (a handsome guy), красивая песня (a beautiful song), красивое место (a beautiful place), красивые глаза (beautiful eyes).

Красиво with the adverb ending describes the impression rather than a thing: standing before a view you say как здесь красиво, how beautiful it is here. Compliments to people take the adjective; scenery usually gets the adverb.

Watch out

Complimenting a man requires the masculine: ты красивый. The feminine ты красивая aimed at a man misgenders the compliment; match the adjective to the person.
