Good morning in Russian
Good morning in Russian is доброе утро (dobroye utro). The adjective agrees with утро, a neuter noun, which is why it ends in -ое and not the -ый you may have met in добрый день.

How to use it
The trio доброе утро / добрый день / добрый вечер is a miniature agreement lesson: one adjective, three endings, because утро is neuter and день and вечер are masculine. Learn the three as a set and you have seen half of adjective agreement already.
These greetings are a notch more formal or neutral than привет. Colleagues, neighbours and shopkeepers get доброе утро; your flatmate gets привет even at 7 a.m.
